katt_goddess
Bit jealous there. Hope they are planning something cool for Dragon Con since that's the only remote Con I can budget for.
OwlChemist81
Momocon SHOULD be more affordable than Dragon*Con. It started out as Georgia Tech's college con. When it started, it was free. Of course, that's no longer the case, but it isn't a wallet-buster on the level of D*Con!
The1gairon
I'm ready for a very special Pre-Flight episode, and also to hear new news!

I would say only the ticket prices would be different. And not by much. I doubt the hotels lower their prices for Momo Con any more than they reduce for Dragon Con. Those are usually block sales at certain times and once the 'cheaper' rooms are gone, they are gone. And the food court isn't going to drop prices - they are feeding nerds, they are going to charge nerd prices. When it comes to Con expenses [ excluding items that I pick up along the way to hand out to fans ] , hotel is the big one, plane tickets are second place, gifts / vendor's mart fun stuff usually ties with food for the entire weekend, and con ticket is last place since it's usually less than $100 for the whole weekend. It would probably be less if I went as a Guest or something but that would require work and I'd rather tend booth and attend occasional panels without problems.
OwlChemist81
Oh, I gotcha. I live a state over so I'm not so worried about hotel and plane tickets! I'm thinking about getting a 1-day admission just to see the Toonami panel, maybe a 1-night stay in a hotel if need be.
