Guest Crush Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 I like em. They're basically big 4x4 4wheelers with about a 60hp engine. 18 grand for new. Wonder if they can go on the interstate.
scoobdog Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 (edited) They look like they haven't changed anything a thing on those vehicles since the got the Willy's license in '47. I wouldn't take that thing anywhere near an actual road with a 60HP engine. Edited May 8, 2019 by scoobdog

It was part of the deal they made with Jeep when they got the tooling for the old CJ's. 41 minutes ago, scoobdog said: They look like they haven't changed anything a thing on those vehicles since the got the Willy's license in '47. They make about 145 torques but they are a turbo diesel... change some plumbing and the wastegate and you can have about double that power...

I can only imagine what the emissions are like on those things. There's probably a reason I've never seen one of those things here in the the Golden State.

Will upping the torq up the horsepower and top speed or is that trans/gearing? Anyway, Heres some shitty pics of them out of a magazine.
Rogue_Alphonse Posted May 8, 2019 Posted May 8, 2019 Power and torque go hand-in-hand. You probably can leave gearing alone since they already have a very tall gear. Pretty sure they can only do about 65... but they also have an electronic limiter on them. It's been a while since I had last put some research into these.

Sucks they only do like 65 but whatever. I saw them and liked their old jeep style look. You said they had a deal with jeep so thats why they look like that i guess.
