I just told the boy last night that he has a new DS. He was preoccupied with other gaming devices.

He just woke up and is ready to pop in Luigi's Mansion on his DS and have a lazy day of gaming.

I might play Smash Bros. with him later on the Switch.

I've got a decent camera, but I need a light and a mic. I found some online for reasonable prices, but Best Buy was not the Best Buy. They wanted triple what I was finding them online for. So, I will have to order them.

an acceptable mic can be had for relatively cheap (i'm using headsets and they've been ok so far, so i haven't bought an external mic just yet...that's for next time). studio lighting isn't too hard to come by, but the cheap stuff isn't very bright, so you'll need to buy brighter bulbs. and then there's the editing software...maybe i was gifted a copy of premiere pro last week. still getting into it, but it's a really good platform, and i've only started to scratch the surface.

haven't really explored youtube's new editor. i'm using it for endcaps but that's about it. much easier than premiere pro.

Yeah I've got to check out some editing programs. I've been looking at a few.

I don't need studio lighting. I have to get a light that attaches to my camera. Best Buy only had one model and it was ridiculously priced. I've found them online for half the price. I'll have to order one. Same with the external mic that attaches to the camera.

I won't be filming in a studio. I will be doing my openings and closings on location. But I will have to edit them and get them to the quality I want before I upload them.

Eh still a good day.. No more snorting trailer dust, but I had to talk about it since I found a bunch of articles calling them trash employers anyway for doing the same thing they did to me to just about everybody else.
