Thicc cut bacon, mild white cheddar infused venison burgers (I used one slice of bacon for both burgers, and another slice per burger on top) as well as loaded baked potato seasoned pirogies fried in bacon grease. I can die now.

Sauteing pirogis in bacon fat was one of the best culinary decisions I've ever made.

Those look better than the usual ones I always manage to find, tho.

Those are just Mrs. T's, but I usually get some small buisiness local brand from PA which are better imo.

If I don't have bacon grease, I save the oil I use to deep fry beer battered chicken or fish in and use a little of that for frying. Worth. it.

Aha. I guess you just herb 'em up more than I've considered doing.

I'm a simple man. Add some onions to the saute and gimme some sour cream and I call that a meal.
