I can't help but feel like Lynyrd Skynyrd would have written the song "Drunk on a Plane"

Come to think of it, only half the band died on that crash, and I don't think it broke them up at the time either (it definitely didn't break them up for good). They could've written the song after the crash anyway.

I read that literally nobody except Ronnie wanted to get in that plane but he was being a pushy dickhead

I don't know exactly, but I do remember seeing on VH1 that the pilot(s) didn't want to fly, and Ronnie just said "If it's your time, it's your time. Let's go." So yeah, Ronnie was an idiot. It was your time because you MADE it your time! You threw your life away, literally!

I'm surprised he was able to convince the pilots to do it though. You'd think at least they'd be like, "Nah, I'm not gonna let you kill me today."

I was very disappointed to hear that because I enjoy some of his stuff. The coolest people can be such asswipes. I'm with you i would have told him no
