PurgatoryGirl Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Several years ago, I stumbled upon actors, that narrated Edgar Allan Poe's The Raven. In the past, Vincent Price also did the narration for The Raven. However, I chose Christopher Walken's narration instead. Yes, I'm a Poe fan who somewhat lives up to the Goth stereotypes. So, sue me.
Ginguy Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 I love this one, James Earl Jones has such a great voice.
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 In 2 more minutes, PBS is airing a special about Poe. This the only time I will watch PBS for anything. LOL!
Ginguy Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 PBS isn't bad for some things. I imagine this special will be good, their biographical programs usually are.
PurgatoryGirl Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 A little while ago, I finished watching the documentary about Poe. Even though Poe was a man whore, he had a lot of tragedies to endure and overcome. I'm reeling over the facts, that his works were published during the 1800's but were never copyrighted and that he cheated on his dying teenage wife, who had tuberculosis, with a poet.
