new Pretty cure Series characters revealed

they remind me very strongly of Magical Doremi, an earlier Magical girl series Toei had(that 4kids produced a now out of print dub of that was actually decent)

 

 

the red chick looks super Butch....I almost thought she was a guy till I saw her hooker boots and I remembered only girls can be Pretty Cures

 

show is called "Kirakira Precure A-la-mode"

and the cures are named

 

Red(the butch one) = Cure Chocolat (which is french for chocolate and is for some reason trendier than saying Chocolate in anime these days)

 

Blue = Cure Gelato

 

Pink = Cure Whip (as in whipped cream)

 

Orange = Cure Custard

 

and Purple = Cure Macaron (aka Macaroons, those meringue cookies filled with pastry creme)

 

edit: they also look really fucking similar to the cast of Tokyo mew mew A-la-mode right down to the yellow one being named after a type of pudding
