mochi Posted May 26, 2017 Posted May 26, 2017 what I'd really like to know is, if these malls have been dead since the 80's, first off, why was Dan Bell given clearance to restore power to them and second, why haven't they been demolished yet? edit: for some reason I laughed when he walked into the Pay-less store and it was full of felled Trees >
bnmjy Posted May 26, 2017 Author Posted May 26, 2017 That mall had only closed down in 2013. It just has a very 80s aesthetic. I think he just trespasses much of the time, and the electric bill, for whatever reason, still gets paid.

I was just watching the video about the (now demolished) Owings Mills mall the funny thing is they proposed rebuilding it as an outdoor mall then never did, and made similar plans for several other Dead malls in Baltimore that ALSO never underwent an outdoor renovation they actually DID rebuild the Hunt Valley mall (also in Maryland) as an outdoor Mall and it's made a complete recovery
