But isn't that character Korean? And in the credits he's called Moonphase.

*sigh* They're not being demonized. Miller's team is tricking people to fight on their behalf.

They fell in love over the course of their fight. It is shonen logic lol. This show has basically been a shonen since Kirito and Eugeo started fighting their way up the tower.

Korea and China! Man those Korean gamers are nobody to mess with! And I hope the Chinese players aren't carrying any viruses or malware!

Well you heard the whole fluctlight explanation. It's pretty obvious this show isn't hard sci-fi anymore, if it ever was. Especially since Miller is able to eat people's souls.

So that sword can cut through anything but it's not indestructible. To keep looking for what she wouldn't want to cut. Hmm. Aww.

Sinon made it to Alice. Man, they drew Alice's eyes perfect. She looks like she's been crying hard for a long time. Poor Alice. Sinon has it right. Powerful words. Bercouli's actions weren't for nothing and neither were Kirito's.

Not really though. That was repeatedly established. They are copies of human souls.

Do you have a reading issue or something? We said IN THE MANGA. THE ANIME CUT IT OUT. God. And even then there was some pretty extreme fan service in the show, even if it wasn't as frequent as Fire Force. LOL at "This video is age-restricted and only available on YouTube." That must be something new they started. Anyway, this should refresh your memory on the fan service that was still in the anime. By the way, if you do a search about fan service in Soul Eater, there are people ripping the show for it. https://amp.reddit.com/r/mendrawingwomen/comments/fjuoff/why_is_soul_eater_so_bad/ https://www.animefeminist.com/versus-dissonant-at-its-soul-sexual-objectification-in-soul-eater/ People wrote whole articles about it. I wonder how they reacted when they saw Fire Force lmao. LOL is this what people were talking about when they said the manga ending was even worse?! I remember the author said he doesn't even know Chrona's gender. What does that even mean? He created a character but that character is able to keep secrets from him??

SSSS Gridman joins toonami in january
ben0119 replied to CountFrylock's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
I had no idea Tim Curry had anything to do with this. Looking it up and it looks like he played some sort of role in the Power Rangers-style American adaptation of the Gridman series, which I don't remember at all. I remember initially disliking Power Rangers at first but started watching it as a guilty pleasure. It just seemed so silly, cheesy, and corny to me, but I warmed up to it, along with my younger brother. I remember my cousin who was much younger at the time got way into Power Rangers. But I certainly wasn't having it with anything that came off to me as Power Rangers also-rans, like that Beetle Borg show and others. So I don't recall Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad at all. This is a new one on me. -
Gemusetto Death Beats Initial Thoughts?
ben0119 replied to CountFrylock's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Well the show keeps doing the same things so there's no real reason for my commentary to change lol. It doesn't fit at all despite the creator allegedly being an anime fan. But that would be ok if it was at least funny and tolerable to watch. But it isn't. I have to say I fell off with Family Guy years ago. It became a parody of itself basically. Or maybe there is a limit to how far Seth McFarlane's humor can go, or at least one's enjoyment of it. I did notice that even as Family Guy declined in quality, American Dad was still pretty good for a while. But I haven't watched either in years. I enjoyed Aqua Teen but that did seem to run its course eventually. Never heard of Big Head. I knew all of these except for Whitest Kids You Know, and would agree most of them are pretty funny. Sadly you don't hear Kung Pow mentioned too often. True enough the anatomy jokes can work and be funny at times, other times not so much. But man, is Gemmesutto ever unworthy to be mentioned or compared alongside all the stuff you just did! And I mentioned how I fell out with Family Guy and Aqua Teen but I'd rather watch the worst years of those shows over Gemmesutto Death Beats any day! -

Hahaha, hoo boy. -
I re-watched the last episode and I am pretty certain the "fire-chan" in the OP is meant to be the girl that got into Shinra's head last episode. I did find it funny he thought it was Iris at first. A lot of times in anime characters will look the same and no one will mention it. Or they will make a big deal about somebody looking like another character when they really don't lol. I don't know what the first pillar girl's name is or much of anything else on her, so it is too risky for me to look up pics of her at this stage without risking spoilers (a Sophie's choice, am I right?) Will have to settle with Iris for now. And I am NOT buying into the Haumea craze. She is an annoying troll and her outfit isn't even sexy. She isn't appealing to me at all. Also they pronounced Charon really weird, but I don't think anyone knows how to pronounce it anyway. I heard "Care-on" and "Share-on" during the New Horizons mission to visit Pluto and Charon. Here Haumea (at least in English,) said "Chair-own." Anyway, I think the author may be referencing the celestial objects more than the mythological beings they are named after, since they have nothing to do with each other at all in mythology, and yet they are partners in the show. And until now I can see no traits of the mythological beings in these characters. Of course the author could have just heard those names and thought they sounded cool. Pluto's moon Charon is named after - In Greek mythology and Roman mythology, Charon or Kharon (/ˈkɛərɒn, -ən/; Greek Χάρων) is a psychopomp, the ferryman of Hades who carries souls of the newly deceased across the river Styx that divided the world of the living from the world of the dead. And Haumea is that weird football-shaped dwarf planet named after the Hawaiian goddess of child birth.

SSSS Gridman joins toonami in january

Wow that sure does sound pretty bad lmao. I guess I will probably skip it then, even if the doggy style mecha piloting looks pretty tempting. Too many things to watch/read/play to waste on tedious shows! Umm yeah I had no idea Gridman had anything to do with an old sentai show. Doesn't seem like it will be a requirement though, given the show's popularity and success, and the liklihood a majority of the fans were not familiar with the sentai show, if not in Japan, then definitely here. Although this might explain the mecha's more humanoid design compared to others. It was probably literally a guy in a suit in the old series. -
Since Al commented on the weight of my cats, I decided to elaborate, and tell more about them. The 12 pound cat is definitely fat. Julia, the Siamese, is lazy and doesn't do much. But the 14 pound fluffy black cat, Justin, is legit just a big cat, and he's active. So he's not fat for his size. Lots of floof though lol. Funny thing is they are such polar opposite personalities. Julia is lazy and easily scared of stuff, can be pretty co-dependent. Justin is friendly but more independent, is active and much more of a snoop and even a hunter, and there isn't much that scares him, except for the vacuum (they both hate that.) Justin is pretty intelligent too, but Julia doesn't exactly seem like a member of MEWNSA hahaha. In an update to my situation, I had my stitches removed on Monday and was told I could return to normal activity in 2 weeks from then. Meaning by the end the month. Like I mentioned before, you would be surprised how many things way over 10 pounds and how much you need to be able to move your back to be able to do everyday things. But I am glad the dermatologist caught something before it could turn into something worse!
