    Yeah went back and watched again just now. Tanjiro called 1st form, then noticed the demon surrendering, and changed to that 5th form.

    But a demon that gets its head cut off disintegrates. This one was still going, but it disintegrated when it was cut through the middle.

    It seemed when Tanjiro noticed the Spider Demon "Mother" surrendering, he changed the form for his kill to that painless quick cut. Kind of odd the water isn't meant to be literal but she still seemed to feel it in a way.

    Dude I wouldn't want them to be condensed. They could just split it into episodes if the pacing and structure allowed for it, but it doesn't look like that is happening.
