    Why do they want to air Shippuden once a week as long as possible? Are they trying to set some sort of record or something, or just say they aired it for such a period at one episode a week? And why only one slot? I know. I'm just saying, I wish it could go by faster. And since that last slot is usually reruns anyways they might as well put another Shippuden episode there.

    At first I thought you meant that Demon Slayer trailers got put in front of a bunch of regular movies. Now I see you meant the trailers that got put before Demon Slayer. Or maybe that did happen too. Who knows. I haven't seen any other movies lately. Whatever media campaign blitz was done definitely worked. Or the fan base was even bigger than we thought, even in the United States.

    Demon Slayer gives a lot of vibes of past series I enjoyed. Inuyasha, of course, Bleach, because of the Demon Slayer Corps and Hashira, swordsmen with special abilities, a bit of Kekkaishi, because of the secret organization hunting demons, the crows, outfits, art style, etc, and probably other series. Of course I would admit the series is probably nothing earth shattering, and the fact it seems to borrow from so many series probably hampers it for others. I do think it is on the higher end of quality for shonen, though I do have my complaints, like the utilization of Nezuko. Well it is an arc of the series, but with god-tier animation as expected, on a giant screen, plus a LOT OF SHIT WENT DOWN in the arc. It was pretty impactful.

    The first two movies were good. Super had some highlights but a lot of it was crap. Plus it ruined Goku's character. I don't know how much I really care about another Super movie at this point.

    That probably wouldn't upset me too much, since the Nielsen numbers are a probably an inaccurate shitty sample anyway. It's archaic and antiquated. Networks would be pretty stupid to keep putting so much stock in it.

    We got some Nielsen booklets some years ago, but we weren't ultimately chosen as a Nielsen household. I guess we weren't worthy lmao. I remember I made sure to watch and write down everything on Toonami, even the reruns and the stuff I hate. I usually watch everything anyways, but a lot of the reruns I would skip. It's too bad we didn't get picked to have the boxes!

    LOL. Demarco is horrible at advertising! You know there are some people who don't even know Rick & Morty is made by or airs on Adult Swim? They just watch it on streaming services.

    Damn there was no thread and I didn't think anyone would make a thread at the last minute. As it is, I don't think anything more could be gleaned from this first episode. Although it was a good episode.
