A new comic. Hope this one isn't crap like the last one was. Is that... a motion comic? Or just an animated commercial for it?

Doesn't help that a lot of shows use it to pad things out because they're too lazy or cheap to animate more dynamic things. You are right that it has to be done right. Another issue is characters, and the characters in this show can't really carry it. Stuff has to be happening, due to the characters in the show being somewhat weak, you can't just have pure, full-on character stuff.

Could be Demarco has Buu Saga secretly coming under major lockdown. They've kept bigger secrets under wraps... As for what replaces this... if it doesn't go right into Season 2, I'd prefer something non-Gundam. Mob Psycho 100? Drifters? Please God veto Tokyo Ghoul... don't need more edgelord shit like Akame Ga Kill. That crap show was such a waste of time.

Guess I am one of the few who appreciates the slice of life and downtime, just living, character moments, etc. This show, I like it. But I can see why it wouldn't be others' cup of tea. Let's just hope Demarco doesn't get his permanent Gundam slot. I want something different after this ends. Personally I would've preferred Gundam Build Fighters... but you kinda have to play a "normal" Gundam show before you play one like that. Anyway, let's hope a non-Gundam replaces this and we don't go right into season 2, because I'm fine with a break, even though I like the show, honestly.

It's okay. You can catch it on the rewatch. DVR, On-Deman, or AS Video Section. Fans are so apathetic to Gundam that the site works fine while it is on. ;D I like it, but I can see why people don't. I personally enjoy the slice of life and downtime stuff. And this is saying something, since this is only the second Gundam series I haven't hated. The other one was G Gundam, which was silly, over-the-top, and cartoonish. There was a Windmill Gundam! Fun show. Most Gundams are extremely melodramatic, with whiny, annoying crybaby characters, guilt-tripping the viewer for humanity being horrible to each other, obnoxious anti-war preaching, cliche plotlines like enemy soldiers falling in love etc etc.

Yeah, it happened to me all the time. I eventually had to upvote myself to 1K as insurance to keep them off me. They may have have been lifeless miserable losers, but nobody is going to sit there and downvote 1K worth of rep! Sad the boards are shut down now and those guys will never get punished for what they did. Also one of them decided to stalk me across the internet when I got into it with them on the dev boards some weeks back. Had to quit the dev boards and threatened to call the police on them over it. Sawdimizer. Ridiculousness. But, it's all good. That place is a sinking ship. It's sure to be shut down eventually. And now, this is the real community for the former ASMBers. They can keep that shithole. Not like that was the real ASMB, anyway. Just the shitty NodeBB knock-off. Gotta love how we had our old board archive for all of a few weeks, too! *SIGH*

That's the point. This is intentionally cheesy, campy, and over-the-top. It's meant to be theatrical and melodramatic. This is about 1800s British people, after all! But yeah, this show isn't meant to be taken super-seriously, in case you couldn't tell. Basically, roll with it and have fun!

Yes. They admitted to being the main downvote trolls, the ones after me and several others. Inception downvote trolled Elfie "as a joke." He also reported Elfie on Deviantart for underage sexual content and nearly got him banned, accusing Elfie of being a pedophile. That kid has issues. And I've talked with Elfie several times and no matter what I tell him he won't come back. Even after I told him they disabled downvoting and and added an ignore feature. And yeah, I liked him, too. It made me mad Inception did that, since Elfie was one of the few people here that I was actually friends with. Most of the Toonami folder users don't like me, and I don't really get to talk to you guys enough to be "friends", I don't think. Ya'll mainly being weekend warriors and all. But yeah, what's funny is Inception got massively downvote-trolled, too. And I've pretty much treated him like he deserves ever since he's been here. So he got what was coming to him. But yeah, those guys really ruined it for a lot of us.

Actually, I'm not. Did you just hear the thing with electromagnetism and Hamon? This show is brilliant. It's easily the Cowboy Bebop of long-runners.

The NodeBB dev boards are still up... basically ASMB's version of the purge, a Wild West with Babblers and all manner of ne'er-do-wells running amok. It's a hive scum and villainy! A basket of deplorables! Also the downvote trolls outed themselves - Killjoy and Sawdimizer. Inception downvote trolled Elfie off the boards. Such a POS. And yeah those were corporate boards. This is a private board. Luuv needs to beef up the servers. Does he need Egil's help with some "big-ass servers?"
