Uhh, most of the characters don't look Asian. Uchihas, Hyugas, should probably be Asian. Rock Lee and Might Guy should be Asian, as they're clearly based on Bruce Lee. Shikamaru and Shino, probably. But I mean, Naruto himself has blonde hair and blue eyes... It's sort of like Bleach. Kubo gave all the Soul Reapers Japanese names because of theming (Hollows and Arrancars are Spanish, Fullbring American, Quincies German), yet many of them clearly aren't Japanese. Not sure for Kishimoto's reason. Probably just couldn't or didn't want to think of non-Japanese names, and it is about ninja, so makes sense to use Japanese names.

Mochi is as one-dimensional as the "stereotypical characters" he complains about. ;D

Oh okay. I was gonna' say... Shippuden needs to be sent to the Shadow Realm. From what I understand, we're on yet another cliff of horrible storyline and quality drop. Let's just see how much further we can get into abyss of terrible! Must not disappoint loyal viewers! Must not throw away episodes! Must air all of Shittuden until the Sun turns into a red giant! IT IS THE TOONAMI WAY!

It's a fine show. Not a bad episode in the whole bunch. Not in the original, at least. InuYasha is a lot better than Hiatus or Shittuden. It doesn't have to be in the 5:00/5:30am slot, either. It'd be cool if they could do a rotation of it with Final Act included. There's always time to grow the audience and introduce InuYasha to new people, even now!

Drives a stake through the series likability? That happened when Sasuke took off and wasn't rescued in one arc, Kishimoto tried to put them over as "best friends", and then the rest of the storyline revolved around that repetitive bullshit. So, the seeds were sewn back in part 1. Sure, this show can get worse, but it's been crap for a good while now.

Oh okay. Timeslot change thing makes sense. But this still seems like a long time to keep doing it for that. But at least it won't the that fucking "GOLD ROGER..." shit anymore. I don't want to see Gold Roger anymore unless it's in the actual show and we learn more about him.

Don't forget Michiko, Champloo (a rerun same thing basically as a "low key pickup", and Children Who Chase Lost Voices). I don't think Toonami is above picking up the odd dark horse sleeper show now and again. But they aren't going to do it at the expense of running a heavily demanded AAA show. But, maybe if we can get some extra slots, it could happen. But they'd have to be later... either right before Shippuden/One Piece... problem is, those two shows and Hunter x Hunter are settled in with audiences where they are, and 3 would be too late for a premiere, even a low key one. I just don't see them running a "low key" show in the earlier higher value slots. But yeah, that's pretty much the thing that's different.

I see. But the Gold Roger thing was in the show early on... a different version. They took it off. I assumed this was because it was no longer needed? But they brought it back. And yeah it's there for padding... still annoying. Rather just have a longer recap than seeing the same shit every week.
