The thing is, each of us probably know someone in real life that will talk about those other topics, or there's dedicated communities for them. Not so much the case with anime. Well, I have friends that watch anime, but haven't talked to them about it in a while. Either way, pretty sure they aren't watching Toonami religiously. "Toonamite" is a lame troll term divised by Babblers. I believe "Toonami Faithful" would be official term for Toonami fans per Tom/Sara/Demarco and co. but it always came off kind of cringey to me. Besides that, the distant ancestor for the Toonami folder was ASMB's Action Discussion for ASA. There may have been Toonami forums for the old CN Toonami, but I don't remember ever using them. Not sure why. I remember reading the webcomic explaining the transition from Tom 2 to Tom 3, though. That was pretty cool. Aside from that, I don't want to take too much time on this board by regularly visiting every section. I gotta full DVR, huge game backlog, and Fairy Tail to catch up on, plus other animes I'd like to watch/finish/catch up on. Yeah that could be it. Hard to get into his thinking there but you may be onto it. Those other heroes definitely deserve credit and respect for their fight against the Deep Sea King and the Sea Folk. I just hope that Saitama one day gets the credit he deserves and some of these shitty civilians get shown for the fools they are.

I wonder what would have delayed them from bringing Goku back. It makes sense, given how reprehensible Vegeta was and how he was kind of shittily reformed. I don't think any of Goku's other former enemies turned allies started off that bad. We do know that happened a lot.

I hadn't heard about Gohan taking his place early, or editorial interference affecting it. I do know that Gohan was supposed to be new main character, as set up in the Cell Saga and seen early in Buu Saga. But Toriyama changed his mind, saying he felt he wasn't suited for the role.
