I think they changed it so you can only hold 5 at a time, gotta give em away to get more

You have to be physically close to trade, but we can send each other gifts and get distance bonus from the eggs we send each other, if you trade those pokemon to others.. Also make sure to have an egg slot free before opening gifts in order to receive Alolan eggs
