Update: I spotted him three hours ago. I slowly opened the door and he immediately darted away. He didn't even go for the trap. I've spent the past three hours searching the neighborhood for him, but I can't find him. Earlier today I actually went driving around looking for him, locked myself out of my running car, and managed to break in by wedging a rock between my door and sliding my car antannae between the crack. Tl;dr? Cats still gone. Today was fun. Yay.
