Yeah I concur. I was fired once for something really stupid (a facebook post in 2010). In any case when I applied for a job I just never mentioned that "other" job since I was working somewhere else concurrently so I never had a gap in my employment record. When I applied for a job out of college I got a job pretty quick and have been gainfully employed at my same job for 6 years now. In my resume I just don't put that other job. No problems thus far. When I finish my masters next year I'm still not mentioning that other job when I apply for a job related to my new degree.

Well if your not a CNA (certified nurse assistant) that is a pretty hands on job. Plenty of jobs out their as well. It can be pretty stressful though so I'm not sure if its a good fit. I work as an RN so I'm used to working with CNA in a high stress environment.

What kind of work you looking to get into now?

Kinda ironic I just received the Mobile Suit Gundam Collection (1979) on Blu-Ray yesterday. I figured those sets get rare and expensive in time. I bought Collection 1 and 2 for about 80 bucks on Amazon. I considered getting Zeta but since I have the original DVD's from the limited edition from YEARS ago I figured I didn't need to spend another 80-90 bucks on it. I've seen the movie collection of the original series but not the show itself. When I get time I will binge watch it though. MS Wing is great to. Still got those DVD's laying around but I will probably watch it on Hulu sometimes as well. Never watched the other series you mentioned.

I will......eventually. Its not on my radar. Last Nintendo console I got was the Wii. I wanted a Wii U but no game on it has really caught my interest. The ONLY game I am really interested on the Wii U is Xenoblade Chronicles X and Wind Waker HD. I'm secretly hoping they both get a Switch port saving me the need of buying a Wii U. If they get ported for sure I would get a Switch. If not.......well we will see. I would actually probably end up getting a Wii U first on the cheap. The game that actually piqued my interest the most on the Switch was Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

It features very little spoken dialogue. Its sparse plot and visual style have led to it being described as "animated art rather than a story". I have been hearing good things about it. I saw a video review on it and it definitely caught my attention. Definitely something I will watch when I get a chance. It is not everyone's cup of tea and leaves things open to interpretation. So I am taking an advanced pharmacology class and last weeks lecture was on contraception (got a quiz on Friday). I remember Eternal Punishment was pretty damn hard back in the day. I'm not even sure how I beat it back in those days. IS seems pretty easy thus far I agree.

I am an old soul from the old boards that wandered here. I hadn't been on for a long time so most people probably don't know me. I was really good friends with Dragondaime if that name still has any sway. She is living in Dallas these days I believe. Even though I am a responsible productive human (sortive) my hobbies remain gaming and books. Anime I still love it though I don't have a ton of time to watch it. Last series I watched was Psycho Pass. I recently bought Season 1 of Attack on Titan since I heard good things. Any I am STILL waiting for Rebuild of Evangelion the fourth part.

Yeah I am playing Innocent Sin on my PSP. I have had it on the back burner for awhile. I only recently beat Persona 4 Golden on the Vita last year. Great game. Can't wait for Persona 5! It takes me forever to beat games what with adulting and stuff now. I should really go to bed cause I have to be at work at 0630!

I googled Adult Swim Message boards and when I went to the AS website they had a graphic showing the place was shut off. A sad man tear went down my face. Then I found another link to a reddit thread lamenting the death of the boards and I found the link that took me to the old version of this board. Eventually I found the true link to this place and voila!

Hi! Yeah I've been using tatsuya suou name for awhile. It was my old board name back in 04 before Persona got super popular. Back then I had just beaten Persona 2 Eternal Punishment on the old Playstation.

Its been years since I posted in the ASMB. Then I realized it was deleted or destroyed somehow. Probably just imploded in on itself. In any case it was years since I posted though I had been on the boards since 2004 (man I'm old now). Most of the people that were on are either old like me or have better things to do. I don't know most of the newer folks but I'm kinda sortive glad I found this place. Definitely has that ASMB feel. Needs IB vs Babbling. IB was always an..........interesting place. Anyways just saying hi. I shall see how involved I get on these boards but it looks like a promising post apocalypse ASMB area. Cheerio! : )
