i liked the old spiderman movies when i was a kid, they probably haven't aged well at all since.

i tried so hard to like these movies. everyone else does, i really want to like them. i just don't. i can't really explain why, but i can't connect at all with them. i tried watching both Guardians movies and Black Panther as a challenge from a coworker to try and see if i could find one i would finally like and i just don't. the humor falls flat, the CGI is hokey, the characters feel like cardboard. the soundtrack to Guardians i'll admit was very good, and the first half of Black Panther with the car chase was really fun, but after that the movie just dragged for me. i kept looking at my phone wondering when it was going to be over.

i'd look suspicious. no one wears ties where i work. buttoning the collar is probably my best bet but what i'm not sure about is how i'm going to explain it away when i go to the gym
