  1. I didn't, and I brought it up.
  2. Okay. Thanks for telling me that.
  3. Do you think we'll see the August 30th update come tomorrow? Or will they double down on one of the existing shows for a while?
  4. While a November premiere for Rooster Fighter would be impressive, let's not forget that they planned for a Spring 2026 release for this show.
  5. I mean, if Robert Pattinson can be in a Ghibli dub, why not add Channing Tatum to the Demon Slayer cast? Who's next? Christopher Walken in an English dub of Vagabond?
  6. Isn't this our first time seeing Kaido in the anime? Says a lot when his first mainstream awareness came out at a much different time than Toonami is allowed to show.
  7. Agreed on both charges, but if Futurama is only going to air Saturdays from 4 to 6 AM on the entire Adult Swim lineup, you might as well give them a fifth slot for the week.
  8. Yeah, I suspected as such.
  9. Well, this is a welcome surprise. First, Blue Exorcist gets its third season on Toonami, adding to the welcome wagon with open arms. Next, Naruto Classic may be off the Toonami brand, acting more as a lead-out alongside Superman. Whether this will be replaced or not, we shall see. Finally, if Naruto is off the block, this means Toonami loses a slot, which allows for the budget to be allocated into finding better shows on the top. This is huge news for those who stuck around the early months of 2025. However, there are two things I should say: One, there seems to be a vacant spot somewhere in September, even if BES3 airs back-to-back a few times this Fall. Two, and most crucially, part of me is waiting for the other shoe to drop and reveal something less tolerable. Just don't cry about the future if I happen to be correct, and I will shed a tear of joy if I'm wrong.
  10. Despite the inaccurate title card, I actually concur that Cartoon Network does not have much time left.
  11. I'd say the same thing about the HD remaster of IGPX. Like, if it's just a placeholder for DBZ Kai reruns, why even remaster the show? But I can understand where you're coming from about Mashle.
  12. Let's be real. They probably would treat it as an announcement, and the fans would eat it up.
  13. Well, according to an interview with Seth Green to promote the Robot Chicken special, Discovery Communications is DeMarco's boss. But, since he was promoted to become WB's new head of action cartoons, Warner Bros. may still have him on their record. It depends on where the turn buckles. But in all seriousness, while I do understand the split, I do NOT understand why they merged in the first place. Not to mention where AT&T lies in all of this.
  14. If anything necessitates a new package of bumpers, it's the steady stream of programming since May. Seriously, we've got Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga, Dragon Ball Daima, and now Dan Da Dan. Whether or not you like these shows, you can't deny that two-hour stretch of anime deserves a new coat of paint to go with it. Heck, aside from MAWS Season 3, One Piece, and a marathon or two, the Nov/Dec lineup is a near-total mystery as far as I know.
  15. I wouldn't put this all on the Netflix audience. While I do see Dan Da Dan as a relative success in its first few weeks, it being placed after Daima would be another factor in its inevitable decline. However, if by some miracle, that show keeps a steady rating for the block, then you can hear me blowing a party horn all the way in Antarctica.
  16. Haven't we seen enough Rick and Morty as it is? Even if Keith David is getting a paycheck, which I love, the surprising thing is how long we had to wait BEFORE getting an out-and-out spinoff.
  17. Look on the bright side. Between Daima, Dandadan, Bleach, Blue Exorcist, and One Piece, this is the earliest Subbed Lazarus would be able to air. Heck, even if you move the schedule around, it wouldn't air until 1:30 AM at least. But I will agree that I'd rather see something else occupy that slot, like Sailor Moon or IGPX.
  18. I saw someone say the plots of Captain Planet villains are now considered guidebooks for real life politicians, so reviving the show might as well happen. Unfortunately, I agree wholesale with that person.
  19. I expect Simpsons or Bob's Burgers to get the win, but if Common Side Effects doesn't nab it, my next vote goes to Love, Death, and Robots.
  20. Credit where it's due. If the new Superman movie wasn't released this weekend, this Lazarus marathon would've been done last week. So it's not like AS wanted to do two marathons in a row.
  21. Welp, guess this explains why Daima got an extra episode on the 19th. Dandadan doesn't have exactly 13 episodes. But seriously, I'm also happy Toonami got this show in the first place. Pun intended, but that takes balls of steel.
  22. Look on the bright side. Since the Midnight slot is almost always going to be something Williams Street has a direct hand in, Primal and Rooster Fighter have 2026 pretty much booked in that timeslot for the first half of the year. Filling in the summer and fall seasons, though? That might be trickier. Personally, I wouldn't mind if an entire hour was cut after October, given the playbook so far.
  23. That surprised me. Releasing in nine months? That anime had better be good. GKIDS might have more leeway than Crunchyroll at this point, which is not exactly a pleasant truth. Let me guess. Daima's the new headliner, and the stalling is for no real reason, right?
  24. With the early reveal of them trying to stall for time with Daima instead of adding to their One Piece debt, allow me to make some loose predictions for the back half of 2025: If the summer headliner is Rooster Fighter, its first week will have two premieres instead of one, bumping Daima down to 1 AM. This allows them to stall until the first week of September, when they'll have something new planned after DB and Original. Blue Exorcist would be replaced by something else in mid-August, likely getting a headstart before the show it follows. That, or the show airing at 1 AM has at least 15 episodes to air and can take double duty for the rest of the semester. Given the duo of Lazarus and Naruto and their remaining episode counts, Naruto reruns will be carried to term, ending at Episode #39 before the Halloween marathon takes place. If Rooster Fighter has 13 episodes, its season finale will also air as two episodes for an hour long, bumping Daima to 1 AM for that week as well. Daima's own finale would allow Toonami to stall for time for an extra week. This year, the Halloween marathon would be a two-week marathon of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. The end-of-2025 marathon would be a three-week send out to Dragon Ball Daima, airing on December 20th, 27th, and January 3rd, 2026. After that point? Only One Piece is a surefire prediction on what Toonami will air. I have no dang clue what the November and December schedules would look like.
