Oh,thats a nice improvement over the manga version then Oh I forgot about how a character eating 'x or y' titan shifter host will automatically inherit that host's memories beside their powers,so I can definitely see what your saying coming up in the future,how eren will probably re-enact the memories of the previous war hammer titan host,in a flashback episode from his point of view and or when isayama think its necessary for the plot to showcase said flashback of warhammer for whichever reason

The warhammer titan,like most of the other 8 special titans or so, is most certainly badass when it comes to its power as well as also sporting a cool looking character design to boot. A shame the host of the warhammer titan was written off the screen after eatened by Eren so fast after only lasted one episode and another 1/4 of an episode though. I was interested in learning more about the character. Its the only titan so far with the least amount of characterization. Maybe,in the future,they'll drop a flashback episode to make up for this or something,like we somewhat saw for annie

The scene with eren become an amputee kinda loses melodrama points as the viewers already know that Eren can just regenerate those lost body parts back by activating his titan powers.if eren didn't have access to his titan powers,the scene of discovering timeskip eren lost his leg would be alot more poignant Also,without watching ahead and catching up to the japanese subs. I think timeskip eren choosing not to regenerate not his leg and growing her hair long is all part of his deceptive facade disguise he's just playing up (of a much bigger plan at hand) which has helped him to successfully infiltrate the location he's currently at without arising suspicion by zeke and reiner or whoever
