Volunteer Rank Overview
1. Admins: is the people who do the stuff with the thing. do buncha stuff. they see all.
2. Man/Women In Black: is the people who get abuse reports on threads and posts and clean that stuff up goddammit. they are the ones that potentially deal with questionable content issues, including those that may derive from malicious intent of individuals or groups.
3. Green Ghosts: is the people who help maintain the place, including helping users adapt to the board and helping the board adapt to its users.
4. Mixologists: is the people who help make fun things like help plan and execute board events, do polls, possibly help with banners, etc. Sort of like hosts for the board and its individual sections.
5. Helper Elfs: is the people who help users find their way around the board, and have some mini-moddy abilities for their home boards and sections, such as ability to lock threads by request, edit posts by request, add spoiler tags, etc.
6. Web Rangers: is the people who go forth and bringeth back news to their respective board(s). They may also act as recruiters for new users.
7. Archivists: is the people who do stat related activities. Maintaining the board archive with older threads that are long abandoned, but still entertaining or somehow of historical interest. They may also do whatever other stat related activities, such as posting statistical wikis on individual folder content. Powers include lock, sticky, move threads with user permission only.
8. Foreign Correspondents: basically character alts. existing volunteer/staff members may create characters/hand puppet alts to post in character on the board, post editorials, in-character media reviews, etc
