hardening guy is Urameshi Yusuke!! i'm looking forward to hearing him a lot more in this series!! also, watching this a second time (and with the phenomenal english voice acting) i'm actually starting to feel some empathy for Bakugo. I haven't gotten to the bottom of his character yet (i think the next episode i'll watch on crunchyroll will explore that, but i feel like i can get a real feel for what's driving his emotions regarding Midoriya. the feeling of being superior to someone close to him and then having that person oppose him while still acknowledging that superiority. and then the suspicion that that same person has been faking inferiority the whole time, mocking him on a level he couldn't grasp or understand. i mean, yeah, he's a dick who has shallow ambitions and enjoys picking on the weak, but still, there's clearly more there to him.
