    are they recycling old sound bites instead of re-recording thse scenes? their VAs sound like they did all those years ago (i know because i've recently seen these episodes) despite coming reasonably far in their skills since then

    ah, another flshback episode....but it's a flahbac episode of when the series was better and with updated animation no doubt. with the number of times Naruto and One Piece do this, you'd think each series could reboot with its own dragon ball kai version by now

    oh, damn, it's the Mitsuki origin episode?? Kishimoto actually wrote this story in a manga one-shot and it's pretty much the only part of the boruto manga that's good or interesting (though i guess the same can be said for the sarada goes looking for her dad arc we got through before) also, the guy boruto's fighting in the flash forward is a new character we haven't seen yet
