    I wonder if it's because it blowing in the wind and stuff adds more "character" to the model, adding more "life" to it, people usually complain about stiff or lack of expression CG.

    At least Studio Orange tends to be surprisingly good with CG in their works. Though to be fair, while I prefer high level traditional animation (often mixed with good cg of course) I've also never been one of those big CG haters since I got hooked on Studio Gonzo's sci-fi anime back in their glory days. The first ep looked quite nice, imo. They do a good job making the CG actually expressive.
