Having seen them a lot I'll probably mostly have it on in the background but it makes sense to repeat these one more time before the new eps, especially since it's only 6 eps long. It's not like they are delaying the premiere to do them, since they said they are still finishing the new eps anyway, which is why they aired the first ep of S3 (Alternative) instead of the first episode of S2 (Progressive) for April Fools, since that was the one that was completed, or at least that's what they said. That said, can't wait to see Progressive from all of their little hints about it, sounds like it channels a lot of the original.

Pretty much. As many have said, for a while now it's obvious that it is so Kishimoto to make a female character like Anko that should be extremely easily connected to both the plot and the action and yet is such a non-player.

I guess that makes sense since they are now using the HD version of the video, so they probably had to go through them to get the new materials. Sucks that a show of this quality got that mess of a blu-ray release here after all that waiting.

I think this was also the reason they gave as to why all of the refugees that are constantly connected to Kuze to watch his actions never try to get any closer in the link or to influence him in that way. I think this was mentioned in the ep where we first learned he had so many people watching his actions. Plus Kuze warns the Major just before she tried to fully connect to him to try to see through his eyes, to find his location, about what connecting to his memories or whatever else is there seems to do to most people.

Pretty sure the one in Japanese was this one that just ended with Batou staring down Kuze?
