the whole Great Saiyanman saga was sort of filler, basically just meant to give more explaination where Videl came from and why Gohan was using an alias to fight in the Tenkaichi Budokai

Gohan is a rather massive dork and he always was lets not act like this is new, he was just a precious baby in the older eps so we couldn't be mad at him now he's 16 so acting like a child is less cute (even though he still is one)

Vegeta is canonically always slightly stronger than Goku he just has better control of his power while Goku is a maniac who always fights at full strength and has no self control or care for the safety of those around him basically Goku is more dangerous than Vegeta even though Vegeta is stronger

super was meant as a children's anime the only reason it isn't airing on a kid's channel is because CN dumped anime and Toobami bills itself as an "adult" block now
