New Streetlight Manifesto album finally (half) drops

after 13 and a half years, Streetlight has finally put out a new album, or half of one. in classic Toh Kay style it was delayed for a year. Tomas made it clear he was going through some shit but despite that he's still dedicated to perfection in his music, so it makes sense that it took time. and the wait was more than worth it. the rest of the album is supposed to drop in September, and I'm so fucking stoked.

all of the songs are great, but All The Pieces is 8 fucking minutes long! it's incredible and feels like a conversation with his past self in response to his old songs. there's so many good parts to it.

imagine this is also great. maybe it's just seeing myself in the music, but it feels like part of it is related to being trans: "or maybe it was she who left me for another girl" .
