Narrator just said the North Pacific octopus can grow to the size where it's tentacles are larger than a school bus...("It can reach up to 30 ft. from arm tip to arm tip. The length of a school bus.") This shit is wrong in so many ways idek.... First off 30 ft isn't really even the typical length of a school bus, but I guess that's close enough. The giant pacific octopus/ north pacific octopus top out in size about like humans do from what I know though lol. Rarely over 6 ft. My god if that were true they'd have giant and colossal squid beat....AND no they don't.

Why does national geographic suck so much at relaying facts? Didn't they used to be at least a lil better idk...I'm about an hour into this Octopus documentary which was going well... but NPOs are not bigger than fucking school busses anywhere lol....Even wikipedia caps it at 20 ft and that is a huge ass specimen if you ask me. Why add 10-20 feet to the damn creature? It's pretty amazing and mind boggling even at around 5 to 6 feet... Wait I almost missed the chance to say maybe they were comparing NPO to the size of the short bus they loaded up on as a kid. :LithiumSmileyIndifferent:
