How do you interpret the 3rd verse of Castles Made of Sand by Jimi Hendrix?

"Castles Made Of Sand"

Down the street, you can hear her scream, "You're a disgrace"
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbors start to gossip and drool

He cries, "Oh girl, you must be mad
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?"
Against the door he leans and starts a scene
And his tears fall and burn on the garden green

And so castles made of sand
Fall in the sea
Eventually

A little Indian brave who before he was ten
Played war games in the woods with his Indian friends
And he built a dream that when he grew up
He would be a fierce warrior Indian chief

Many moons passed 'fore the dream grew strong
Until tomorrow he would sing his first war song
And fight his first battle, but something went wrong
Surprise attack killed him in his sleep that night

And so castles made of sand
Melts into the sea
Eventually

There was a young girl whose heart was a frown
Because she was crippled for life, and she couldn't speak a sound
And she wished and prayed she could stop living
So she decided to die

She drove her wheelchair to the edge of the shore
And to her legs she smiled, "You won't hurt me no more"
But then a sight she'd never seen made her jump and say
"Look, a golden winged ship is passing my way"

And it really didn't ever stop
It just kept on going

And so castles made of sand
Slips into the sea
Eventually

The last verse about the girl in the wheelchair. It doesn't seem like Hendrix ever said what it meant, but there seems to be like 10005823459348 different intrepetations.

The first half isn't tricky. She's suicidal bc she's in a wheelchair and can't walk. She goes to a cliff on the shoreline to go do it. Then the next part is what no one can agree on:

But then a sight she'd never seen made her jump and say
"Look, a golden winged ship is passing my way"

I thought that she drove her wheelchair right up to the edge. Like if she goes another inch she'll fall. Then she sees the "golden winged ship" which I always assumed was an angelic thing like a flying ship full of angels. The angels perform a miracle and give her use of her legs. She doesn't know it yet tho, and the first thing she does with her legs is jump up in surprise when she sees the angels. Since she was pulled right up to the edge already, this causes her to fall off.

That's why the ship "didn't ever stop. It just kept on going" since she fell they just leave.

I'm not sure what's right if it's about fate, never losing hope, the futility in wishing for a miracle bc the miracle might kill you, or all three things at the same time... or none of those things and it's just about how everything ends.

I always choose not giving up hope bc you can't tell what's coming next. It could be the miracle you've been waiting for
