tsar4 Posted June 27, 2021 Share Posted June 27, 2021 There was a video (FB "Iroquois County & surrounding Counties information") of the storms today in Illinois by some storm chasers on I-57, chasing a funnel cloud and suddenly they pull over. You can see a tornado drop down a few miles ahead and one to the East. Meanwhile cars continue to fly by, heading right into the storm (including a semi), until they realize what it is & the brake lights come on. Reminded me of that joke t-shirt about the Bomb Squad..."If you see me running, try to keep up". If you see the storm chasers pull over during a storm, you might consider doing the same.
