I added some lines to this thing I had started earlier.. I actually laughed at the last bit I added. This thing may or may not be coming together.  

Man I don't even know what's alive in my soul.
I try to stay sane on an island all alone.
I only feel cold when somebody ties a rope;
slides me a boat in hopes I climb in the hold.
I've tried to stay bold amidst the lies 'n' the jokes
Now days I stay home butterflies in my throat;
Still soaked in self loathing; controllin' my moat,
I'm living just to die, but I love that ya know.
let's go; take it away like a gate to the fray,
So much to confess, but yo I hate to complain,
but with it off my chest I can Hip-HOP in da game.
Thoughts of a sage. democracy's oppressed and;
My nations in pain. Yo we need to step back just
stop placing the blame. It's like I'm stuck in my dreams
with the world at war and fucking covid-nineteen.
To put it lightly I've been pumpin' my spleen 
with a ton of drums, rum and a spot o' Ice tea. 
It's gotten pricey, but yo I know what I need.
