Don't you just love it when...

You finally manage to get hired full time for a job, which means a big bump in pay, but the person that handles payroll wasn't aware of that so you only get paid half as much as you're supposed to make.

Like seriously, I was making $10 an hour, but now that I'm hired I'm supposed to be making $17 an hour, with guaranteed 40 hours a week year round, even when we're off for holidays. My check should have been close to $1100, but I only received $480, so not only I was paid with my old wage, I was actually shorted 2 days of pay. There were 2 days last week where work was closed because of a winter storm, but I still came in for both days and worked (I ended up taking a half day the first one cause when I got there I was told we'd still have gotten paid for it but I didn't know that, so I just stuck around and worked half the day, while the 2nd day we all had to come back and work even though the building was still closed).

It's really annoying now.

I tried going to the offices yesterday to get it resolved but they were still down cause Christmas. I went there early today and they were open, but only 6 people were in, and the payroll lady wasn't one of them, she won't be back til next Thursday.

I was given her email address, and I sent her an email about my situation and... Nothing. No cutting me a check for the missing amount, I have to wait 2 more weeks til the next time we get paid, her just adding to it.

Which is really annoying. On one hand my next check will be pretty damn big, with the around $1050 I'd get from the new pay period plus the ~500 that I was shorted on, plus 6 hours of overtime since I had to still come in everyday of this 2 week break to check on the building, me getting one hour overtime for each weekend day, so 6 total.

On the other hand that means I have around $500 in the bank, to pay a ~3000 loan and a $400 credit card balance. Technically it can be done if only do no more than $150 for each, but the longer this shit sits on my account the more it's gonna drag down my credit score. I was wanting to pay off my credit card entirely with my full pay, as well as pay like ~350 towards my loan.
