bnmjy Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 This book is going to be made into a movie next year featuring Tom Hanks and Emma Watson. It's about the loss of privacy in the age of social media. While the message is quite enticing, the author pushes his beliefs in between the characters' dialogues here and then. For example, he interjects the existence of God by the protagonist encountering an unusual individual. His writing also tells more than he shows. Computer geeks seem to find the book disappointing as it barely talks about programming at all in the book. The author even admits to not knowing that muchabout computers. A little research could have gone a long way. I give the book a 5/10. Quote

bnmjy Posted December 7, 2016 Author Posted December 7, 2016 Looks kind of promising, only because Hermione is in it. Quote
