Somehow when I switched to a new mode on YT for desktop with a premium account, it switched me to auto instead of the standard setting. So that's why all the YT videos I've uploaded lately are fuzzy. Anyway I figured out the problem and set it to the highest setting 1000 something I think so it's fixed now. What a pain. Guess I should have read carefully what the stupid update was.
