Rogue_Alphonse
I am so. fucking. tempted. to put a dual tap draft tower inline with one of the posts and running the lines from a standard 42" tall mini-fridge (with freezer but still can fit two 1/2 kegs)... Like, I can even run the lines inside of a "duct" that is pumped cold air from said mini-fridge. It would be so easy to do yet so costly ohno
wacky1980
that cold air flow duct is key, even if the run is only a couple feet. if the run is several feet, you have to also adjust your system pressure balance to account for the resistance in the longer beer line. there are tables online to help you determine how to get that magic ≤1 psi at the tap by manipulating co2 regulator pressure, and beer line tubing type and length. Yeah I've been studying. Thankfully I have HVAC and plumbing knowledge so I can figure out a way to keep the whole line at an even 36 degrees... I'm only going to be running about 6 feet so it shouldn't be too bad. My only downfall is I have a support in the way of where I want to mount it, so my only other solution would be to have two separate draft towers. wacky1980
ugh. design restrictions always seem to be the biggest hurdle. sounds like you got the fridge issue figured out though, so that's good!

I mean, at worst I can cut out that little bit of support. I put blocks into the framing of the bar to keep it from twisting because Lowe's up here has nothing but shit 2x3's. Now that it is a fully built and secured structure, no loss on a 4" bit of wood
