EvilsergE
Few days ago i got an error saying one of my raid0 hdd is failing, today i replaced both with new hard drives. Discarded the one that was failing and now trying to get the second one as a back up hdd for my pc. The problem is windows is not recognizing the hdd at all. Its not showing up in disk management. It does however show up in BIOS and Crystal Disk Info software. My SATA stuff is enabled in BIOS, it should work, but.... Any idea on what it might be? Im running same OS as i did on that hdd, so that cant be an issue. All my settings are the same.
K_N
Is the drive that's not showing up part of the RAID0 array? If this is a hardware array or set in BIOS, Windows should see all drives in the array as one single drive. Otherwise, try formatting the drive as NTFS with an outside of windows tool like gParted. wacky1980
i was also going to suggest a reformat. if you can see it in bios, maybe try booting the pc from a backup disc and formatting the drive then?
