To start us off, we have Kubo's versions of Luffy, Naruto, Orochimaru, and various Dragonball characters. I think Luffy looks pretty cool here. Kubo's slender figures work for Luffy's physique, too. Still don't know how the hell I never heard about this. I lucked into coming across it through the ole Google Rabbit Hole. Naruto looks pretty cool and Orochimaru looks even rapier and creepier, if that were possible. I like Kubo's versions better here, honestly. This was done in Kubo's earlier art style, obviously. Interesting the characters Kubo chose to draw. Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks, Tao, all great characters. But Zarbon and Recoome, of all people? ;D I mean, they're cool, but... He must like these characters, in any case. I notice none of the Son family are present, LOL. Yeah, he definitely likes Tao. So do I. 8)

Also just remembered I like Temari. Who knows if she'll ever be relevant again. Always thought her quad pigtails look was cute and unique. But, at least she is one of the few strong and competent women in the series...

And as for Orochimaru, he looks like Marilyn Manson, so...

Uhh, most of the characters don't look Asian. Uchihas, Hyugas, should probably be Asian. Rock Lee and Might Guy should be Asian, as they're clearly based on Bruce Lee. Shikamaru and Shino, probably. But I mean, Naruto himself has blonde hair and blue eyes... It's sort of like Bleach. Kubo gave all the Soul Reapers Japanese names because of theming (Hollows and Arrancars are Spanish, Fullbring American, Quincies German), yet many of them clearly aren't Japanese. Not sure for Kishimoto's reason. Probably just couldn't or didn't want to think of non-Japanese names, and it is about ninja, so makes sense to use Japanese names.

Mochi is as one-dimensional as the "stereotypical characters" he complains about. ;D

Trinity Blood. The author died. I really liked that show and where it was going, too. Really unfortunate.

I heard Black Lagoon finally came back from hiatus. Whatever happened with that? Finish the series? The arc it's on, at least? Also, lolberzerk. lolhiatusxhiatus.

Oh okay. I was gonna' say... Shippuden needs to be sent to the Shadow Realm. From what I understand, we're on yet another cliff of horrible storyline and quality drop. Let's just see how much further we can get into abyss of terrible! Must not disappoint loyal viewers! Must not throw away episodes! Must air all of Shittuden until the Sun turns into a red giant! IT IS THE TOONAMI WAY!

It's a fine show. Not a bad episode in the whole bunch. Not in the original, at least. InuYasha is a lot better than Hiatus or Shittuden. It doesn't have to be in the 5:00/5:30am slot, either. It'd be cool if they could do a rotation of it with Final Act included. There's always time to grow the audience and introduce InuYasha to new people, even now!

The show is shit, so let's replace it with its sequel. I love your logic. No, we have to suffer through every painful minute of this garbage until Toonami airs it all. You know how Demarco doesn't like to "throw away episodes!"

Drives a stake through the series likability? That happened when Sasuke took off and wasn't rescued in one arc, Kishimoto tried to put them over as "best friends", and then the rest of the storyline revolved around that repetitive bullshit. So, the seeds were sewn back in part 1. Sure, this show can get worse, but it's been crap for a good while now.

Oh okay. Timeslot change thing makes sense. But this still seems like a long time to keep doing it for that. But at least it won't the that fucking "GOLD ROGER..." shit anymore. I don't want to see Gold Roger anymore unless it's in the actual show and we learn more about him.
