As I've said before the Steelers are my AFC team, but I usually don't actively root for them during the season or anything, just the Eagles. But would I like to see the Steelers win it all if the Eagles don't? Sure. Anyway for some reason I still have this game on. Saints about to take a 21 - 6 lead. I'll probably shut it off at halftime.
-
God Aikman's giving me a headache. If New Orleans scores a TD here I might shut this off and watch something else. Which they did as I was literally typing this.
-
Well so much for that.
-
And a missed gimme wide right. This could be another low scoring affair.
-
Meanwhile judging by how this game started we may be in for another defensive affair.
-
I'm honestly not sure if I want the Eagles to win more than I want the Titans to next week. I mean don't get me wrong I'm an Eagles fan, but even if by some miracle we do win we're getting destroyed in the Championship game. I almost view it as more important to just get those fucking Patriots out, not that I think it'll happen as I said in an earlier post.
-
Oh Christ Buck for this game? As if I didn't care enough already. I'm just thankful the Eagles get Michaels next week.
-
Also, I was alright with it today but really? 1:05 start next Sunday too? That means I'm gonna miss some of that game for my Sunday anime too! Why the fuck would you schedule playoff games that early?
-
And that's game. Good luck in Pittsburgh Jaguars. I'll be rooting for....well ok the Steelers, but I won't mind if you win either.
-
Not so fast, was that a catch?
-
Oh geez Taylor's down. What an end to Buffalo's season. So I'm rooting like hell for the Titans next week then. And the Eagles of course, but I doubt either goes my way.
-
Oh they just said the Jags would play the Steelers.
-
They just can't stop Bortles....on the ground. So my question is....how badly do the fucking Patriots rape either of these teams next week?
-
I don't really care who wins this game, or the other one today actually, but I do hope McCoy does well.
-
So this Bills Jags game is 3 - 0 at nearly halftime? Seems thrilling. I missed it to watch anime until now. Looks like the Jags might tie it up before half though, let's see.

And it looks like Atlanta wins. Two upsets today, whoulda thunk it? And unless I'm wrong that means Atlanta heads to Philly next week. We should lose that game comfortably.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix It's funny, I remember going with friends of mine to see this in the theaters, it felt longer back then. I couldn't believe the time when I finished just now, much shorter film than I remembered. And from the longest book too, ironically enough. As I briefly mentioned days ago this was the first book I read in the franchise, and it was because my little sister got it as a birthday gift when it came out. She let me read it first because she was still on an earlier one. I read it purely on a whim. I don't think I'd even seen all the previous films at the time. And Goblet's film wasn't even out yet. I got interrupted while watching this tonight early on. I missed when Mr. Weasley takes Harry to the ministry for his trial and the first part of the trial itself. The film is....good, I would say. Umbridge certainly makes for a memorable foe. Luna is a welcome addition to the cast. And it's nice to get so much more of Neville. I noticed his increased role in Goblet of Fire last night too but forgot to mention it at the time. Bellatrix is a character I've always just found obnoxious, though I'm pretty sure that's the point admittedly. We get that glimpse into Snape's past, and of course Sirius dies. All things considered his death is treated fairly swiftly though, almost glibly. Perhaps not with the weight it should carry. At least not entirely. The best scene in the film, and I felt this even watching it back in 2007, is of course the duel between Voldemort and Dumbledore. That too feels shorter than I would have liked, though it still looks very nice. Harry's brief romance with Cho comes crashing down, and we'll get even more romance in the next film. I was expecting a scene to happen in this movie that must actually be in the next one. It's where Malfoy stomps Harry on the train under his cloak and Luna finds him. But I'm rambling now.

Oh cool, movie ended literally just as the second half kickoff was underway. Rams losing? Hmmm, wasn't expecting that so far.
-
And the Chiefs complete quite the collapse. What a first playoff game. Don't feel too bad Chiefs fans, I'm an Eagles fan. I know Andy Reid led heartbreak all too well.
-
Starting to wonder if either team actually wants to win this one. At least it'll be an exciting 4th.
-
First game will be starting soon. Second I probably won't be watching because of a movie I was planning on watching but we'll see. It probably won't be over before the movie anyway so I may catch the end. But first, let's see if Andy Reid can handle some Titans.
