Now more than ever your local pbs station needs all the support it can get 

Been seeing this news spreading online and it’s just…depressing 

while this doesn’t mean the end of PBS entirely.  It does mean local radio stations and tv stations in smaller towns will be struggling to stay on the air 

I already threw $5 at my local PBS station earlier this month but I’m hoping more consider donating in the near future 

A small  monthly donation gives you access to the pbs passport service which allows you to watch a plethora of content from music artwork politics and nature 

Losing that would be incredibly disappointing as it means one step closer to stuff like Fox News having an even stronger grip on this country 

 Barely support the disabled and expect you to live off 2K per month 

can’t believe we jumped through hoops with them for seven years just for that…

guess that’s the lone star state for you…..feel like I gotta do a lot of stupid crap just to stay afloat 

GoFundMe…..I’m ashamed to say I’ll be needing that again for the 4K property taxes on the house 

$2K for the disabled but $4K to pay the taxes on your house 

This is humiliating…

you even think about asking them for assistance here and they treat you like you are crazy 

no joke they once assumed we must be rich because we live on the lake

 maga have led so many folks to think politics are inherently troublesome to discuss and it’s better to avoid talking political discussions entirely 

the problem is politics dictate our lives our society  we can’t ignore them and avoid talking about them 

Im tired of people thinking you can just pretend politics don’t exist and it won’t bother you

Very few hang out here at all….but we got fantasy football going two years in a row

Been a couple years since I played 

We’re in this situation because politics became such a no no word that people actively started to ignore them…

you can ignore politics but politics won’t ignore you 

Politics affect everything so the idea you can just turn off political news and avoid it completely is insane 

It’s official I hate week 18 fantasy football 

You get penalized if your still playing by then because so many great players are benched 

Next week is the championship
