The most I've ever spent on a smart phone game is $30 for Pokemon Go and that wasn't just one payment. It was several small payments the first two months I was playing. I love playing Mario Kart Tour but I haven't spent anything on it. Probably will spend a little at some point but I'm okay without it for now. Mobile games aren't that bad. I mean they're if you're a hardcore gamer or really good at games but if you're a bad gamer or a casual like me, they're fun. It's not worth spending a lot on those games but a few small payments is fine especially if you really like them. I have both Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but I enjoy Tour more since it's easier and it's fun to get new characters. I've only played MK 8 somewhere between 20 to 30 hours I think and I've unlocked most of the things in the game already. Plus it's harder to play so it's not as fun.

There's artistic reasons for liking the games too. It's fun to be able to design your own patterns and rooms in your house. It's a relaxing game so it's like a form of therapy. For gamers who like collecting things like myself it's fun to fill out the creaturepedia with all the different types of fish, deep sea creatures, and bugs. It's a way to be social and get together with others without really getting together with them.
