Zenigundam Posted April 24, 2017 Author Posted April 24, 2017 actually a lot of the time they had to go to the post office to pick up the letters, so technically they just needed a name and post office location Well my current girlfriend lives in Manhattan, and I think I would have needed her actual address back in the day because so many people live in NY. Things are much easier when you know a girl's address instead of just her number because you can check in on her and see if she's all right if she doesn't pick up the phone for example.
Ginguy Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 When you think about it, before the telephone was invented, you needed to know where a girl lived in order to write her letters. No, you didn't. You could speak to her at public places such as church or the market. Only rapey creeps tried to figure out where they lived. [youtube autoplay=1]
Zenigundam Posted April 25, 2017 Author Posted April 25, 2017 Creeps didn't exist back then because what millennials consider... ummm I hate to use the word creepy, but... creepy... was considered romantic.
