Atsumare! Fushigi Kenkyu-bu manga ends, *doesn't* get anime adaptation

But we did get a non-animated PV, and it's got a voice actress (Kaori Maeda) playing three different roles.

Just saying: if it ever happens, my deal to do episode reviews (just like Squid Girl!) is still good. And you know there'll be content ratings clips, too.

Figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to pimp the mangaka's next series. It's revisiting the roots a bit with a fish-out-of-water premise, and the MC has already gotten a some fan art on Twitter that Anbe himself has retweeted. I'm tempted to go whole hog and buy the first volume, which is due out in June, but I might as well pony up for the first scanalated chapters first.

In a twist I certainly wasn't expecting, Akuma de Fukei! is ending after just eight months. Curious what the reason is here: was it not that good, did it just not sell well, or was Anbe not feeling the premise? Maybe if I had bought a physical volume, that would've been the tipping point.

Oh well. At least I'll be able to enjoy the completed work as its own thing that won't take long to finish. Plus, I can always blast a few more Atsumare chapters when I feel like it.
