Rogue_Alphonse Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Little did it know, I am a fucking surgeon with a grinder and a cutoff wheel. Also did I mention I hate Nissan?
NaBarney Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 I don't even understand how people let things get stripped to hell like that. Not talking about you obviously but the previous owner.

Not talking about you obviously but the previous owner. Expand It's not that it stripped, the nut was spinning the stud that is essentially the ball joint. But I get what you mean... people either are careless, ignorant, or put too many ugga duggas on it with an impact wrench. Lucky for me, this ball joint was the original one to the car. Or unlucky. Whatever.

The trick is to "hit the part, not the bolt", which I did. So well in fact, that the ball joint stud spun freely inside of said part. But hey, it took me longer to unwrap, plug in, and change the wheel on my grinder than it did to cut the damn thing off. I shoulda just cut it off from the get-go.
