If anyone is familiar with the rest of the CGI Resident Evil films, this one takes place within the canonical video game series. This one takes place after RE6 but before RE7 and concerns the remnants of the Umbrella Corporation.. And features series staples Chris Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy, and the return of Rebecca Chambers (we finally see what happened to her after the events of RE0 and REmake). I completely forgot it was releasing this month and only just ordered it on Amazon. I liked the first two films so I'm looking forward to this one. Quote
