mochi
as can plainly be seen it is a lighter and softer take (though season 2 may not be, I'll explain later) things worthy of note 1. Kevin Levin does not exist, many of his character traits have been given to the character "Frightwig" who has been diminished in age to match Ben and Gwen 2. several characters from later Ben 10 series have been introduced early here, such as Edward Cullen Mike Morningstar from Alien force, and Billy Billions from Omniverse 3. season 1's finale, apparently establishes that the second season is going to take a sudden swerve and become dark, as it introduces Vilgax, and he has not been made any ligher of softer in any way, he is just as homicidal and evil as he was in the original show, which is in stark contrast to the rest of the reboot 4. several characters who were villians in the orignal have been retconned as heroes for some reason 5. rather than having self contained story arcs that last for one season then get replaced by a new villain and main conflict, apparently this show is going to have a long ongoing "Myth arc" somewhat like Steven Universe does, which will last the entirety of the series from beginning to end basically, it appears the "lighter and softer" artstyle, shoddy animation and juvenile storytelling style in season 1 are decoys to make the sudden swerve into dark at the end of season 1 more shocking, or so I've been told by people who saw the eps early (they aired in other countries before airing here) basically, the Reboot is a fake Teen Titans go!, it starts out seeming like a pure comedy reboot with dumb jokes, then season 1's finale pulls a "nope, still a dark action cartoon, fooled ya!" twist
