That's as short as I could make it lol. In all honesty, do you really think I got fired tonight? I think the "F--k you honestly!" to the other floor manager might have done it, because otherwise I was just going to be disciplined and then come in tomorrow.

This is the most tense situation I've ever been in lol. And the floor manager who told me that dropping the box like that is unprofessional is actually someone I went to HS with. We played JV baseball together for two years, and he's a year younger than I am. Damn, I f--kin exposed him haha. I really hate that I told the girl, "F--k you honestly!" because I liked her and she was the girl I was planning on asking out, but she's close friends with the other floor manager, who I went to HS with, and when she started s---ing his D by siding with him and claiming I was out control, that's when I decided I needed to bust back at her!!! ALPHA ZENI BABY!!!

Just read it lol. It's 100% exactly how it happened, and I need to know if it's even worth it to come in to work tomorrow. Also, there was a customer who intervened while I was arguing with the first floor manager, and he told me that I had to listen to what he said, and I told the customer, "Listen, I have a job that pays twice as much as a teaching assistant, and I have a B.A. in English from UVA, so I shouldn't even be working here, and I don't have to listen to him if I don't want to", and the customer said, "Well f--king quit then!!!" and stormed off. F--king dumb old bastard wanted me to be the villain, mind your own damn business before I destroy you, like what actually happened lol .

All of this is true btw.

Here's what happened: I was stocking boxes in the "spirits" section of the liquor store, and one of the floor managers asked me if I had intentionally thrown down one of the boxes from the top of the ladder. I said that I did, and he said not to do it again because it's "unprofessional". And I asked him, "Why is it unprofessional?" and he stuttered for a while and couldn't come up with a legitimate reason, and then he finally said, "Because I don't like it, and that's not how we do things around here." and I replied, "Oh, so because you consider it unprofessional, you speak for everybody here. The customer wasn't anywhere near where I threw the box from and I didn't throw it AT him." and then another floor manager intervened and said that I had to calm down because I was yelling and I said that he's just trying to exercise a hierarchical position of power over me because he's the floor manager and I'm the merchandiser, and he said, "That's not it at all." and I said, "That's exactly what you're doing! Then what are you doing then?" and he got flustered, so the other floor manager told me to talk to him in the break room, and we just said the exact same shet and he told me to clock out for the night and come back tomorrow, and I said that he still hadn't come up with a decent reason, and then as I was clocking out, I went back to the other floor manager and told her, "I don't know if you're new to managing our not (she's 22), but you really didn't have to send us to the break room to discuss that. We could have easily discussed that, in the open, on the floor", and then she told me, "I really don't want to discuss this right now." and put her hand in my face, and that's when I said, "Ya know what, F-CK YOU, honestly!" and I clocked out, and she responded, "EXCUSE ME?!?!?!" and went to go call somebody, presumably the store manager. Am I fired?
