Takeaways so far - I like it, but if I hadn't just watched the hobbit trilogy for the first time + rewatched LOTR and spent time looking up a lot of this lore and crap and reading about who and what I watched before coming into this show, I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. Idk anything about these specific characters/events that Amazon purchased from the Tolkien library, and I'm not looking anything up for this show, all burnt out on that.
