It was originally 600x200 or was it 200x600 .... Well anyway due to a certain incident the sig limit was decreased because of abuse

I had a bunch of backup drives installed on it about 2 before this incident so I added an additional 3 to it so now it's back and weighs more than before didn't realize they would gut the entire thing ánd rebuild it

I stuck it in the main forum banner block because that was the easiest way for me to do it. "AwesomeJamInk" is Zintar's paypal biz acct, he is the one handling the donation/money part. the plan is whatever gifts to the donate button will go to server expenses, if we have more after that, it'll sit in the account until we need it for something site related, such as software purchases/upgrades and things of that nature.

If the board crashes, keep the backup link handy so you can go and complain about the board crashing and stuff and wait with others in the rain til it comes back up.

March 31, 2017, 12:35:03 PM the new stuff is set up. I was pretty thorough, but there's still a lot of crap to click/check/consolidate etc (permissions are in like 80 different places for the same stuff, it's crazy). basically new users should be able to access and post in the Introductions area and Free For All boards no matter what. Guests (people not logged in) should be able to access and post on the Password Recovery board no matter what. All users have a set of invisible ranks for each section of the board. New users have to be assigned those. so as soon as we get that, they should be good to go for posting everywhere. if you find that your buttons have disappeared to post/reply to threads, or post new threads, or you can't access parts of the board you'd like to, let me know and I should be able to fix it in a minute or so of reading/seeing the PM.

March 30, 2017, 04:46:20 PM am working on board profiles and permissions such that it could cause very brief periods of various features disappearing, though this should only last about a minute if that and I think most of the big stuff is done, so it shouldn't happen any more. but since it happened once today, figured I should post and give people a heads up.
