What did you have for dinner?

I was just talking about it the other day so I had to have it today: chicken biryani from my Pakistani coworker.

I’ll be having it probably next month, thanks to your suggestion.

It ended up medium well after factoring in residual heat. Pinkest I'll go is medium. And it was a fairly thick steak.

It's always nice to see character development.

I normally default to well done unless the steak is about an inch thick or so. A thicker steak takes longer to cook through than a thin one, and I was hungry as fuck after a hard day's work.

I went extreme Desi today. Chicken biryani, palak paneer, chicken tikka masala, and samosa. I can feel the spice down to my soul, feels like a spiritual cleansing.

Finally tried chicken biryani and chicken samosas.

I went medium on the biryani and it still almost blew my head off. The samosas were good, though.

Was gonna order Indian food again, but they’re closed today for some inexplicable reason. I’m just gonna get some Chick-Fil-A in a little bit and put this damn day to bed.

Shabu-shabu. Such a dumb-sounding food, reminds me of Lord Jabu Jabu from Zelda, but honestly one of the best Japanese foods, IMO.
