your favorite comedy movie go:

Recommended Posts

Freddy Got Fingered

Wolf of Wallstreet

The Big Lebowski

Among others, those are some of the ones that will get me to laugh the hardest currently.

Team America too, that one is great.

The British one everyone quotes all the time. I ain’t sayin it.

I'll say it for you because it's also my pick: Monty Python and the Holy Grail

Also The Naked Gun.

How High

Half Baked

Dazed and Confused

I don't know if New Jack City qualifies as comedy but Pookie was a great comedic relief for an otherwise grim storyline

Wait, you were thinking of Life of Brian? As great as that movie is, hardly anyone quotes it, especially to the degree they quote Holy Grail.

I was thinking of holy grail, but I love them both.

But they do sing the closing song quite a bit.

I really wish I knew more of the lyrics.... and how to whistle.

I also really wish I knew more of the lyrics to the song Robin's minstrel was singing in Holy Grail.

Kung Fu Hustle. I was on the floor laughing when I first saw it, and it never fails to cheer me up. I also went into it cold and had no idea what I was in for, so that made it an even better experience that stuck with me.

I didn't like that one, maybe because I hoped and thought too much that it was going to be another Kung Pow (which is what I wanted).

The Hangover

Also….

Almost Famous (more of a comedy/drama, but whatever: still a great movie)

Zoolander

Team America

The ATHF movie

Nothing To Lose

And pretty much anything Jim Carrey did in the 90s

Liar Liar is his best comedy, IMO (not too well versed in his other movies).

Maybe “anything” was a bit of a stretch.

I was mainly referring to Liar Liar and the Ace Ventura movies. Also, The Mask was okay.

No Dumb and Dumber?

I think our humor is reversed because I couldn't stand Kung Pow 😆. It's weird because they're both over the top, but KFH did it in a way that my brain was happy
